Should I go for one that represents my sorority which I love dearly? Or should I get the thistle flower which represents my geneaology (I'm very scottish)/ favorite flower?

I have been a very proud member of the sorority for years and have NO plans to quit. I cannot use the letters so I was planning a triangle with a violet inside, using two symbols that have a lot of special meaning for me and the sorority.
I'm getting the thistle one way or another eventually. My heritage means a lot to me, but so does my sorority. (My sisters have in a number of ways saved my life. Longer story if you wanna ask me via email maybe.)

I think you should go with the one that is ultimately more valuable to you... This decision should never be made by anyone but oneself.

I would go for the flower first and wait for the sorority one. You'll always be Scottish, but when you're 40 will having been a sorority member be as important?

A thistle with the symbols for your sorority beneath it would look nice.

the flower. don't get the sorority. no matter how much you love it. get the flower. and wait a couple of years or so to see how it goes with the sorority.
