I used to be maddy in love with my boy friend but his father & lil brother ****** it up for all of us. I have never really hated any one in my life but I can't even stand his fathers name in a {convo} i'm always rubbing it in my b/f face of how much i hate them. Like b4 i used to talk to them most of the days. but it all changed when the father started to name callin and tried to attack me. over a joke about his other son. i dk what to do. i still love hiim but i'm not too sure if i want to marry him any more.

ok ok ture ture. i unstand everyone's comments and thanks but the MAN { the fathrer } dosne't have any respect for no one. the fathrer used to abuse the mother and i kno my b/f isn't like any thing like the family. but it still worrys me. LIke he used to be marry { my b/f} but recently d/v.

I was in a relationship like this once...and it can eat at you like cancer...I say kill em' with kindness...and if this guy truly loves you and wants to marry you, then he needs to tell his family to back off and stick behind you 100%...if he can't do this then tell him it's over. And if his family can't respect who he has chosen to be with then they don't respect his judgments...and are obviously going to be this way with the next gal he may get with. They are all obviously bored and have nothing better to do than nit pick at you. And they need to get a life. And are more than likely not happy with their selves and their own lives. I swear some people just live for drama and turmoil...life is to short to be so spiteful to other people and their feelings because they are to busy and unhappy with their own.

if you really love him them you will put up with his family. Have you apologized to his father for the joke you made? also what is the point in telling your boyfriend over and over how much you hate his family don't you think that hurts him enough? if you really love him like you claim then back the hell off of him and his family.

I think you need to reach a conviction on whether or not you still love this man or not. If you do still love him and he loves you, then both of you (as adults) need to ameliorate the conditions with his family. He needs to tell his father to leave you alone. If you are not really in love with this guy anymore, you need to spare yourself the drama and move on with the dating experience. However, if the two of you should get back together, it's going to take time to rectify feelings between the two of you and between you and his father.

You are not sure...hmmm...Well, you know ...it doesn't take a genius to know what's coming, if you decide to marry him. Do yourself a favor and move on. You deserve a better life. Your boyfriend and his family have a lot of issues that they should work out amongst themselves. Your boyfriend should have put an end to that madness already...

you are better off without him , you are only 19 years old ! there are many more fishes in the occean , look for somebody else and their family that can respect you . Who knows if your guy right now is using his family to get rid of you !!

You get "in their face" and "hammer it out". Just argue from the heart, demand their respect (though not directly), and respect them.
If you stay with this guy, you may have to deal with them alot - you don't want to spend your life trying to avoid people! That's a drag! Get it out in the open and don't be afraid to deal with any crap.

If he allows his family to {so called} pick on you, it doesn't sound like he has to much respect for you, So why do you subject yourself to it unless , you do not have any respect for yourself. I think it's time to move on.
