Well, my first thought is Booster Gold, because he's the worst f'n hero ever conceived. But, he redeemed himself in the Prelude to Infinite Crisis, PLUS he supposedly went "home" so I think he's done.
How about
"Matter Eater Lad" vs Marrow: Mutant who hurls bones from her body
Let's not be shy here, it's likely we're talking cannibalism!
Marrow starts out aggressive, only to see MEL get stronger as he feasts on her every assault. Then it gets gritty as MEL makes his move: a direct onslaught toward Marrow. Can she defend herself?
With two of the stupidest concepts in super-hero history.

Darth Vader and Superman. I know Darth Vader isn't a hero, but it would still be interesting. Kryptonite focusing crystal in the lightsaber, things like that.
