In the hazy days of my teenage years I used to LOVE Axl Rose, but now I fear he has disappeared up his own bottom, particularly from what i have heard about the Newcastle gig last week. Was anyone on Yahoo answers there to witness it? How was the gig and should the Guns N Roses train keep rolling on or should he call it a day?

i wasnt there, in fact i have never seen them, but i do know that axl has bacome souch a fame sucker, his ego protects him from the insults i throw at him.. you cant really call them Guns N Roses, the only original band member is axl..and hes not even axl anymore. he was a really good frontman for the band earlier but his greed led him to failure. they were brilliant with slash and izzy and duff and matt, right up to the Use Your Illusion albums, but from there on they sucked. luckily slash and duff and matt reunited to form velvet revolver because axl kept the GNR name to himself to fool people into thinking it is the kickass rock n roll band of the 90's. so watch velvet revolver instead of the new GNR.

didn't know they were still alive

But yeah, early 90s I was a HUGE fan

I did hear Axl wouldn't go on stage till they made him roast lamb, yorkshire pud and all the trimmings though.... but it's not like those northern folk have work to go to the next day!

No, I wasn't there.
Have one of their greatest hits albums, but never fancied seeing them.
