This may sound simple minded, but I would like to see statistics for the beauty industry. How much time & money the average person spends per month. They have not updated this since 2002, for patents/ intellectual property information. All ethnic products etc. This would take a LOT of Hard Work. And Creative/Adventurous. Meaningful, because for one thing as mentioned above the information is lacking.
If you decide on a project like I have decribed I would Love to know. I NEED the STATISTICS.

I once did a project on how appearance affects the way people percieve you, but if i'd had more time i would have done how appearance affects how you are treated in society. It could be fun and you could use tons of creativity. You would be able to see if tattoos, baggy clothes, dressing in a suit, etc. affect how stores treat you.

You can try to predict the weather based on the previous weather. If you have acces to air-pressure,humidity,temperature,.... of the past years, you can compare the current weather with previous and .... try to predict. Good luck. In reality weather forcasting does use this method (among others ofcourse)
