Honestly, its worth the rent, but not the buy.
Its story is quite repetitive, but the game-play is fun. Then you throw in a couple friends and its fun again, but I'd give it a week or two before you never want to play it again. (After you play thru it a few times of course)

I don't know if it is but the last Final Fantasy game I've played was Final Fantasy VIII [PC-version] and it was alright, although too much drama and cinematography!

Storyline kinda confuses me and the battle system is not like compared to the previous installments but quite good on the other hand.
