It has been proven that women "get horny" around the time of their period because that's when they can get pregnant. an example (may seem silly) is a cat. When a cat goes into heat they do their unusual meows to call in the males and they roll around trying to show off. this is the body preparing for pregnancy. only women go through this usually once a month. this is completely normal

This is when you are most fertile...you are preprogrammed to be horny at this time...it's totally natural. Definitely figure out how to alleviate this besides sex...you have a long time to deal with it.

I guess its normal they said its because of the hormones that are fluctuating in our body that's why you feel hornier when your near your period. You can just think of other stuff than being horny but they say sex or masturbation helps so you will not have cramps.

It's normal. Increase in hormones, you know, you've heard it all before. It happens to every woman who is menstruating, or at least, it should. Most of them just hide it though.

Well as far as I've acknowledged, there's no real way to relieve yourself. My ex-girlfriend tried masturbating, but it just made her hornier. And no, I didn't sleep with her either. I'm not really sure to help you out on this one, but give masturbation a try. Maybe it's different for everyone?

The phenomenon is caused by a fluctuation (upward) in your testosterone level (yes, women have it- it's the sex drive hormone). Sex is the best simplest cure for the problem (even if it's autosex- like handling the problem yourself).

The estrogen level in your body is increasing, leading to an increasing need for sexual stimulation. You have to find something that satisfies your receptors(food, scents, baths).

could just be the hormones or the blood flow to sensitive places. you could try eating foods that help regulate your hormones, or just put a piece of ice there for a minute that should relieve some of it unless ice turns you on

Your body is primed for the most fertile moment in your cycle...

It's very normal...and kind of cool that you're in tune with that.

If you can't take care of yourself, have your partner do it....er you...
