ok lets say you have a software and it says it requires xp but you dont have xp you have 98. is their a way to bypass that and get that specific software to go through anyway is their a way aroud the compadibility issue?

Yes, if its backwards. you can change compatibility to 98 if you have xp. But you usually can't make programs compatible for older models.

I don't think you can run it on Windows 98.
How about trying another software in the same class?

If you do that you may end up messing up your computer. If it is made for XP, I would not try and put it on windows 98.

No, there is no way around those compatibility issues. If it says that it needs XP, it's a virtual certainty that it won't run properly on Win9x.
