Right now in Las Vegas, the cheap prices start at the end of Septmeber and and are cheap from Summer, since it is so hot and goes until December. The cheapest time to stay is in December. If you want decent prices and want to stay on the strip, check out the Excalibur, The Stratosphere, The Luxor and Circus Circus (eventhough it's a dive). I really like the Monte Carlo and The Flamingo. Nice places for inexpensive prices. Good Luck!

Stay off the strip. I mean, you aren't going to be in your room that much anyway. A close by hotel is a quick car/taxi ride away from the action. Price out a few places using travelocity or something and see what comes up. You should be able to find something reasonable. Another option would be to stay on the strip but at a real old, rundown place like Emperial Palace or something. That might be a bit cheaper.

Check out Hooters. My husband and I actually stayed there and it was pretty nice. The rooms were nice, the casino was great (I won $85 off my first slot machine...Blues Brothers). The only complaint I would have is the slow elevators. But oh well.
They were very accommodating to us, although the hotel rooms are not ready until 3 or 4 p.m.

really stay faraway from Circus Circus. i'm actual shocked that Circus Circus has not been demolished yet. i have been to quite a lot each inn/on-line casino in Vegas and may propose South aspect inn/Spa/on-line casino positioned way south of the Las Vegas strip, yet they're booked for 12/31. Honesty, i imagine you're too previous using e book a room with low prices at a functional property in L.V. maximum lodges in L.V. are booked properly in additional advantageous (as a lot as one 3 hundred and sixty 5 days) for brand new 3 hundred and sixty 5 days's Eve festivities. in case you and your uncle somewhat favor to bypass to Vegas for brand new 3 hundred and sixty 5 days's Eve, i wager Circus Circus may be the purely option, yet be attentive to the detrimental comments from previous travelers. at present, I watched a information clip from KVVU FOX5 Las Vegas which presented that each and each human being houses on the strip are booked with one hundred% occupancy status. therefore, you'd be fortunate to even get any room no count what the prices are.

Shop around to the different mass-marketers like hotels.com, travelocity.com, expedia.com, and the like. See who has the best deal that way, and then call the hotel directly and see if they offer you a better one. Many times, the "best rate" is on their webpage for the hotel (I find I get better deals booking directly thru the hotel's website itself.) If you call the hotel - DO NOT accept the first rate they quote you. Ask if they can do better than the "rack rate". Often times, if they're not sold out, they can. They'd rather sell the room at a lower rate than have it sit empty.

motel 6, best western, etc.. the small chain hotels are good. not only are you away of traffic there cheap and in location where you can get to the main strips via taxi. anyways you'll need the extra cash that you would have spent on a stip hotel for playing slots.
