No, the majority voted for the bill, but it requires 2/3 vote to override which is just to steep. Maybe next time after Bush is total smashed politically and the neocon's crawl back under the slimy rock they oozed out of.

Not the current veto GW just passed down on stem cell research; they don't have the votes. Legally yes they can do it, but not on this one.

Yes; it takes a 2/3 majority. But they won't because we have a Republican congress; thank God.
