where do you donate your stuff to? Salvation Army or Goodwill or any others? I got tons of stuff I don't want

Our local Catholic Charities. Especially their domestic violence shelter.

Goodwill will give you a receipt if you drop off out back to the a person there, for a tax deduction, if you need it. And they help ANYONE who is down and out.
And they may come pick it up.

Also Kidney Foundation will pick up a certain time of year.

But if it's women's stuff, I call my local women's Abuse shelter, The Spring of Tampa Bay and since I know they have a thrift store and also that the women leave, sometimes with nothing on but the clothes on them, they can use it MORE so, I try the good stuff to get it to them first.

usually i warp them into bags after differienciating their types. then i decide which bag goes to where. i'm sure there r alot of less fortunate ppl around. most bags will go to my poorer relatives, as i have a huge family tree. some goes to my friends too, others even to my maid's family. for me it depends on who needs what and who needs it more.

sometimes i'll just drop them on the stairs or lift areas. whoever wants shell have it

lastly of course theres the community chest and salvation army to give to =)

Most larger cities will have local drop-off centers that you can just "dump" your junk...not trash though. Try calling your local news station and someone will help you find a place.
