What do you think of the newly-crowned Miss Universe (2006) [Miss Puerto Rico]?

Of course beautiful!! The judges would have selected her being beautiful not only by the georgeous look but also of her talents and knowledge. Congratulations to her, the judges, the organizers and surely to all her countrymen!!!

I think she's just ok. She was wearing lots of makeup too. There were lots of other beautiful women who deserved to be there. I have to agree that the judges have once again chosen a particular type and this look hasn't changed over the years. I think to be fair Miss Japan should have won. She is a natural beauty. I don't think Miss USA, Switzerland or Paraguay deserved to be in the top 5.. there was nothing really stunning about them. But you know there is no escaping politics!

She won because the host is PRican, and two of the judges were rooting for her! Ex mis Universe (Amelia Vega), and Maria Celeste Arraras. She has a bad nose job, and her eyes are too far apart! Anyone else in the top 5 was better!!! She didn't even answer the question well. Last years PRican was better!! As a Latina, with a PR bf, I always root for them, but she is hideous!
