So I moved away to take a break and realized that I missed being at home and seeing my friends. They would call me, text me, message me all the time when I was gone , but now that I am back home, it's like no big deal and blah blah blah. Someone explain, what the hell was the point?

People still care but in different manner.
THink when things are in front of eyes......how much explanation / description needed for it ?....Nothing. Only by seeing...one can understands.
Same with people.....if u r in front / near...they can be rest about worries / ur health / ur needs / blah blah blah. only by seeing that u r doin good now only their even urs priorities get change.

They obviously care about you. Now that you are home--you need to realize that they did other things while you were away and you just need to call them and make some plans with them. I think they are not meaning to offend you or they would not have continued to have contact while you were away. So, show them some appreciation, now that you are home, invite them over or hang out with them. You are fine.

don't put too much into friendships your best bet is to get away if you have to to make a living and then come back around them and see how they act .my man's friends were all dinks one wanted him to drive him all over the place with no help in money for gas when he was low on gas and money and the lot of his friends were unhelpful and ungrateful and put him down . i had many talks with him about it and he finally saw their stupidity.But since he didn't leave them for school or such he is finacially down.

I think many of us don't appreciate what we have when it's here.
It's sad, but true. We're too caught up in everything else about our daily lives to take pause and REALLY communicate with the ones we love.

cause you really dont realize how good of a friend someone is till they are gone but when your back they dont have to miss you they can just come and see you anytime they want to

because ur with them.. before when they miss u they have to call u to check if ur ok.. but now they see u everyday.. i mean try to hide in ur room for 2days and see what will happen.. forsure they all would check to see why ur hiding.. u know sometimes he only sees u maybe he don't talk that much but still he saw u so he is comfortable about ur safty...
