I want to get the palms of my hands tatood with lettering, everybodys saying it will fade really quickly becuse the skin rubs off quicker is this true? even if it is will the tatoo bleed or just start to look dull i dont mind touching it up every few years but i really want it to look like crap anyone a tattoo artist (mine just got arrested otherwise id ask him) or seen this done and could tell me fist hand how it looks?

a tattoo fades for different reasons, not inked deep enough, exposure to sunlight, wear....call another tattoo shop and make sure you get one done by a licenced professional, as there are bad infections out there from needles that are used more than once and bad hygiene...hepatitis, HIV... a potent strain of staph and other infections. the tattoo instruments need to be sterilised in an autoclave, needles should be one time use, thrown away afterwards in a sharps container AND most importantly opened in front of you before use, not laid out on a tray when you enter the room. if they are, ask for another pack, if they refuse, then leave.

Well to a point it is true so you'd be better off getting them on your knuckles.I had tat on the palms of my hands and yeah it did were off but it still had left over inkage on it but I also got tats on my knuckles.They last a hell of alot longer and it dont rub off.

when u get tattos on ur plam it fades in a couple of years.
