the best feeling i ever had was the moment my baby was born on the same day of my birhtday (dec 1st).
the 1st time she openned her eyes and looked at me, 1st time holding her tiny body in my arms after the whole 9 months of pregnancy without knowing how she was, how she was looked like.
it's amazing!

The best feeling I've ever had was seeing my kids for the first time. There is something amazing about working so hard during labor and then when the nurse places that new little life on your stomach it is all worth it. It's the best feeling in the world and it can't be duplicated.

I had many "best- feeling- ever" experiences,...but my very first one was seeing my youngest sister for the first time behind the glass window...(I know exactly what you are talking about!)...It was very surprising to all of us older siblings (she is thirteen years younger than me)...we just fell in love with her right then and there. What a turn indeed, because when our Mom told us that she was pregnant, all of us three kids went into shock,...denial...and even anger... for nine months.

That's it. To look a such a miracle and realize you have an attachment to this little bundle that will outlive everything, even life itself.
Of course, someday they become teenagers. But God rewards you for this by giving you grandchildren.

Nice, but you just wait until it's your son!! Then, to have him call you "mom" or "dad". Then for him to say "I Love ya dad." Simply the best taste of heaven without actually being there.
I'm told that grandkids are even better. I can't imagine how.
