Don't do it for him. Do it for yourself. What he told you should be taken positively, he loves you for you. Yet, if you stopped doing all those things, you would start thinking badly about yourself. When we take care of ourselves, we feel better about ourselves.

Yea, yea...(yawn). He is saying this 2 u because you are beautiful first time in the morning and at the midnight. But I think that u should do the same things u do now, because nobody likes to be "the women with the big eyebrows" or "the woman with messy hair". I know I exagerated, but don't go too much on the other side. People now want to see perfection, and if not, they talk abot you as "a gossip"...so do the things you did, but not too much, ok?

Don't You Believe It. men often say that and in a way they mean it but don't take that to mean that he does not care what you look like. Let yourself go and you will find out why you should always try to look your best for your husband. I don't mean high heels and evening gowns as every day wear but don't fall into the T-shirt and flip flops or worse bathrobe and fuzzy slippers. As long as you still look good when he looks up at you every thing will go as it goes. You let him look up and run screaming he won't be looking at you for very much longer.
And once you let yourself go it is much harder if even possible to ever get back what you once had, and then when he leave you for being a fat mess, you are a fat mess and no one wants a fat mess, not even you.

The only thing you should really worry about keeping up is your weight - be healthy.
I don't wear makeup and usually do my hair the same way everyday, in a bun. So easy. My boyfriend doesn't care. He still thinks I'm the best looking girl in the world. (I think he needs glasses.)
Plucking your eyebrows is a nice thing to do when you're bored, though.

He cares. Trust me he does. But, as a man I can also tell you that we are conditioned to give answers that are on the fence. We don't want to hurt your feelings, that makes us feel bad. But, honestly, if he married a hot little number he EXPECTS to have that hot little number for the rest of his life.
P.S. Instead of trying to be just an everyday attractive throw in a 'dirty girl' look one day or a 'chic' look the next. You'll see how much your appearance means real quick.

Believe me, he married you for your beauty. If you let yourself go, he'll take off after not a very long time. The difference between men and womens' approach to relationships is this: Women think their man will change, and men think their women won't. Both are wrong. Keep that in mind.

wow, ur lucky to find a person like that, but some reasons why ou should is to keep your health good, meaning being happy n knowing that you look good to get attention and to be noticed. hair, makeup, and all other fixings you do shouldnt be to just impress you husband it should be for yourself, and so people wont say that he married shrek or something. just do it to keep his attention n to still live your youthful days becuz todays society revolves around looks.

Because when you stop keeping yourself up, he will notice the change, start muttering things under his breath that will irritate you, and you will start an argument, and he will raise his voice, and you will claim that he doesn't love you anymore and cry, and he will say " I don't believe this!" and walk away, and you will go into depression and maybe committ suicide, leaving you husband in eternal guilt.
So just doll up ok, girl?

Keeping yourself up shouldn't only be for him, It lets other people know how great he has it and that you're gorgeous. You're right to do it to not embarass him in front of his peers.
besides if you didn't keep yourself up and looked like a complete slob he'd probably change his mind.

The definition of happiness is "being content cloth with one's self." It doesn't count how a techniques up the ladder-of-existence we've climbed, extremely its how we taken care of others as we make the perplexing climb to the top.
