Well one time I was talking to him on the phone and well it had been about 1 min. when I told him to hold on a second cause my mom needed something. I had only been gone for 30 sec. when I got back on he said I got 2 go my foster mom said that I have to get off cause schools about to start. When school is still 3 weeks away! and I hadn't even talked to him in a week cause he went on a trip.

I don't think people should lie. On the other hand, you don't know why he wanted to get off the phone, or what was happening on his end. Could be his foster mom wanted to discuss some things with him preparatory to school starting, like wardrobe and supplies, and parental figures and their wants and needs tend to be priority, at least to them. I wouldn't worry about it, unless you have other evidence that he is lying about other things.
Sometimes I don't want to talk on the phone, even to people I love, and some innocent excuse seems much nicer than saying "I really don't feel like talking right now, goodbye", lol. It isn't that I don't love them, or don't want to ever talk to them, I may just have something else I need to do at that moment. Let him have a life outside of you, otherwise he will feel smothered.

Humans always pride themselves to be a higher species because of their ability to think and make decisions. In my opinion, the ability to think is starting to get in the way of our lives. Because people think, and everyone think differently, quarrels and fights are started. Because people think, their school essays get discredited; students are not supposed to think, they are supposed to 'think' like people of the past who had written some books or some form of evidence and include those in the essays. Because people think, those who don't think have to conform to the ideas of the former. Because people think, they cannot come to a decision about some things and it will always be there, never-ending, never gonna be solved. Because people think. Too much in fact. Wouldn't it be good if everyone just do things without thinking too much? Go for it. On impulse. On instinct. Would that make things better? Look what has all the thinking done to us. Yes, we have the technology, the entertainment and everything else which people of the past did not have but we no longer have the simplicity in people. I'm not saying that people in the past did not think but they were smarter. They don't think so much. What's the point of thinking so much and still no conclusion and decision could be made? Doesn't that make you feel worse?
Bottomline: we think too much. Don't k. To whoever this is applicable to.

well, everything one does is for a reason. you should probably confront him for an explanation. at times, there are reasons beyond our understanding and in such cases assumptions can cause a lot of pain and confusion. Just find out the reason without judging him. he probably wasn't comfortable enough with you to tell you about it. to be gentle and open to understanding the other person is better than assuming and getting upset. think this way.....what if he was getting late to go out and buy you a surprise gift?....now if you just "drop him like a hot potatoe" without knowing the fact, you would be making a real big mistake. think about it.

Think he may be doing what they call "constructive jilting" where the boyfriend (for example - not stereotyping here) makes it so uncomfortable for the girlfriend, that they dump them, when really it was the boyfriend who wanted to end the relationship. I could be wrong, so why don't you just talk to your boyfriend, ask him what happened and explain how it made you feel. If you are unable to do this for whatever reason, then maybe you are not that compatible

Hun i can say my mom made me go to bed early before school started but if that the only thing he lie your safe but **** i don't know the hole story so if hes lien GET A NEW MAN... You can to better then someone lien

souds like he was annoyed with you and started playing a little control game. this guy is way too possessive. he'll start to undermine your self-confidence and have you on tip toes running after his every need and mood change. even if he's gorgeous get away from him. he's trouble and it'll get worse. he probably manipulates foster mommy with his moody temper too but she can handle him. he'll make you feel sorry for him but he'll be controlling you and trying to keep you from your friends and family next..

Isn't it more important to be happy, then to worry about something as trivial as this. Talk to him later about lying to you in a reasonable mature way, and don't treat it like its all that bad, girls lie too honey, I'm sure you lied to him already about something else, too, get over it.
