No its not fair to blame the Muslim People or the Islamic people; for its the extremist within them that is the problem. It would be better for them and the world if they worked harder at peace and denounced the violence made in their name - I don't feel like they as a people do enough denouncing of the extremist among them. It could be out of fear of them.
Christianity has its ugly extremist; and so does almost every race on the planet. That does not make every race or religion the problem.

Before I answer first let me say that I've known many Muslims and the Muslims that I've known have been good, decent people.
However as I see the suicide bombers that blow themselves up from Baghdad to bombings in Spain and London, to 9-11; I notice a trend. The trend is that the persons committing such atrocities all claim to be Muslim.
We should really be asking why is that the case? Why are so many persons who claim to be Muslims predicating in murder against other Muslims but people in general?
Someone mentioned earlier that Christianity has ugly extremists and I agree with that comment. However Christians are not going around and blowing themselves up in train stations, pizza restaurant, weddings, and hijacking planes.
Even the Catholic versus Protestant violence in Ireland in the past decades is not on the scale of Islamic Terrorist Groups.
That's not to say that Islam should be blamed but we must keep our perspective on reality here. The fact is there is a serious problem with people claiming to be Muslims who have willfully taken violent action against others in the name of Islam. Not Christians committing violence in the name of Christianity, not Buddhists committing violence in the name of Buddhism, not Wiccan’s committing violence in the name of Wiccanism, etc.
While we shouldn't blame Islam or all Muslims for these acts, we as a world need to come to terms with the fact that persons like Bin Laden, groups like The Muslim Brotherhood, Al Quida, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, are all persons who commit violence yet call themselves Muslim.
Until we as a world can find the answer to why so many persons who claim to be Muslim are hijacking planes, blowing themselves up, we will never know the answer to your question.

It is fair to blame the Islamic Radicals or Islamic Fundamentalists for the Terrorism.
Majority of Muslims dont support them.
No religion has ever preached voilence,holds true even for Islam.
I am not a Muslim but thats the truth.
Its characters tlike Osama who are responsible.
Remember,"TERRORISM KNOWS NO RELIGION".

No, that is like blaming all Germanic people for Hitler's rise to power or every christian in the world for the Spanish inquisition. All religions have their fanatics (radical hindu groups, jewish terrorist before creation of Israel, the know nothing party). Islam is just getting the most attention right now. Islam itself is not to blame.

NO,it is not fair,its about interests and colonialism,and not about religion, Islam is a very peace full religion , Muslims are very nice people ,too,try to visit the middle east and meet those very friendly people.

Did you people know that most of the terrorist organizations have links with the CIA? I will not try to make believers out of you but consider this, how has the current administration received overwhelming executive power without any boundaries aka "The Patriot Act". One word TERROR.

Yes its fair. Religion like it or not is just another form of government. When a government is not fair its removed.
