Yes... he had 20 stitches in his head. Booker T will face Batista, b/c no one will believe someone tiny as Rey Mysterio will beat Batista. So they have to have a heel(Booker T) have the title be taken away by a face(Batista) .

Kennedy's injury is a work.Sure he needed stitches but that's part of the job. Once Batista gets the belt from Booker, look for a brand switch and the next Big Smackdown feud will be Batista vs Umaga.

batista will not get the next shot at the title, rey will get a rematch, the champ always does when tehy lose it.
kennedy isnt injured, just hurt, he might sit out a week or two. besides, no one said this was a number one contenders match, at least i didnt hear it. batista is number one contender until teddy long says otherwise
mark henry is gone for at least 8 months, no worries about him
the next big stroy line is going to be rey vs chavo, as chavo screwed rey out of the title

Kennedy is still going to face him I think. He just had a deep cut to his head. It took 20 stitches to close but it will heal. I somehow see Batista getting involved in this story line and it becoming a triple threat match at summerslam.
