No, that is not excessive. Your weight will fluctuate as you are growing. Unless you are overeating junky stuff and/or not getting any exercise, you will probably find that you naturally gain some weight and then "grow into it". You may find that happens several times during your teens.

The main thing is that you are healthy - get some exercise every day, eat well and avoid excessive amounts of unhealthy foods.

Build good habits but let your body "be" what it will be. You will come across as a much more attractive person if you are near a normal weight and not stressed than you will ever be if you are constantly worried about being "supermodel" thin. Some people are built that way, naturally, but for most that is just as unhealthy as too much weight.

Do not worry too much - just be who you are - that will make you truly attractive =]

The ideal height/weight formula for women is at 5' you weigh 100 lbs, for every inch above 5' you are, add 5 lbs. So your ideal weight would be 120 lbs. Actually, you can weigh more than that and be perfectly fine because your body needs bodyfat to healthfully make it through puberty. Once puberty is done and over with, your weight will level out. You are more than fine at that weight. Don't diet, you could really mess yourself up. Just eat healthfully (lots of fruits and veggies, lean protein (I wouldn't eat red meat, I'm thinking more skinless chicken, turkey, fish, and only whole grain breads and cereals, no white stuff!), give your body everything it needs right now to help you grow and develop!!

I knew identical twin sisters, Ute and Elke (they had a german mom that gave them those awesome names:P), in middle school and Elke was constantly dieting and starving herself. She is now 2 inches shorter and 20 lbs more than Ute at age 22! It really will mess you up. Talk to your doctor. He/she will definitely be blunt with you if you did have weight issues. Which you definitely don't. You're on the low side of what's normal for your height!

hth!

minimum healthful weight for a 5 ft 4 in. lady who's previous puberty is a hundred and ten kilos. yet, in case you have a Germanic form of genetic build, then as much as a hundred twenty five kilos could be only precise, too. See here -- incredibly while you're male. it somewhat is easy to correctly determine the healthful, placed up-puberty weight ranges for any top via commencing at 5 ft tall with a ninety to ninety 5 pound selection for a narrow lady build (like Meg Ryan or Olivia Newton-John). From there, upload 5 kilos for each extra inch of top and then upload 10 kilos for a greater Germanic build (i.e., wider hips and/or shoulders -- like Sandra Bullock). For adult adult males, upload 20 kilos to in spite of weight you come again up with for a similar top and build and enhance the healthful selection via 5 kilos; as a results of fact, adult adult males have heavier bones and larger familiar muscular tissues. Cheers.

I'm not going to say yes or no because I'm not a doctor or medical professional.

I think that you should find a height versus weight chart...I believe it's called a BMI or Body Mass Index.

You compare your height and weight and it will tell you if you're too skinny, skinny, right weight, overweight, or obese.

Sounds pretty typical to me. I'm 5'6" and 120 lbs. And you don't need to know my age. If you eat healthy and exercise regularly, you should not have any problem. It's not how much you weigh, it's body mass index that matters. So, just take care of yourself.

try exercising a bit each day
remember..over exercise has the opposite effect
just go out for a jog or a walk everyday for 20 minutes and you'll feel skinnier in one or two weeks
