I love black, dark music, and I love Jesus I am 12 and came out with my being a goth about two weeks ago. How do you feel about me and my decision? Be Honest!

First of all, i think people into the whole "goth" thing are only looking for attention. its one thing to like the music, but to dress in all black and wear that terrible make up is a very obvious cry for attention. second, Jesus doesnt exist. Nor does "God". Look at the facts. all our belief of god is based on the bible. we have no other proof than that. and the bible isnt even proof itself. that book was most likely written by some regular guy and was meant to just be a story like any other fiction novel. but people are so empty and always searching for some other reason for life and why they should be alive. they read the bible and made themselves believe it to be true so that in thier minds they had some reason as to why they should live. people are gulible and stupid. we can never accept anything at face value. we are always looking for more than what we have. life is what it is. its 80 years of working and making the best of the time you have here, and when you die, your done. so stop wasting your time following the rules of some fictionous god and start living by your own rules. i promise your life will be much more fullfilling.

Well, I dont really know what you "Goths" are about...
My Daughter has a "Goth" friend, and I wont permit her in my house anymore, because she swears a lot, (only 13, and I dont permit that in my home!)...
Wearing dark clothes, and listening to "dark music", (what ever that is...I dont know, as I havent listened to any, that I know of), is a personal choice...
But, what I want to know, if, you are "saved", and are "in the light of JESUS", then, why are you going "dark"???
You should be the "light of the World", not hidden under a basket, but, led to shine!!
You are sending mixed messages to the World, if you embrace this life style, and I fear for your soul...
Keep attending church, and stay in the Word...
I shall pray for you...

I think it makes perfect sense. Some Christian people are always so quick to point out all the positives, but they don't talk about the all of the suffering or destruction in the Bible.
The phrase "God fearing" comes to mind. It is through these examples that worshipers learn not to sin.
So it only seems natural that a child such as yourself would be attracted to such dark things.

I'm just a little confused right now sorry.I don't think anything bad about you though.You can be goth and Cristian I guess but just don't go too far with that goth stuff.

Praise God.....a 12 year old freely admits she loves Jesus. That is awesome!!! As for you being a goth.....doesn't bother me in the slightest........if Jesus is worried about it, He'll soon let you know.........After all He is the light in the darkness and He created all color, including black :) God bless you........Stay close to Jesus, He'll guide you in the way He wants you to go.....

your kinda young to be a true goth but your religous preference and your choice of clothing and music are two compleatly different things, you can love jesus and black.

oh you are ok. You are going through a phase and as long as you do not hurt yourself then you will be fine. How you dress and all is your right.
