This was a response to a question I answered regarding people's opinions on disability. I'd appreciate any comments on this see if anyone feels the same way about it as I did.
' Wow Waggy, What was going on by the hottub that gave you the inspiration to call yourself Waggy? Um! Must be nice to communicate with you parents online with that tag. I bet they are proud of you. Would you like to share with us just how proud your parents are pertaining to your "Waggy" lifestyle? Or, are you embarassed by your lifstyle that you will not come clean and if you don't it PROVES to those of us that say you are NOT born this way,(GAY), you chose it because it gives you the attention you otherwise would not have gotten and therefore proves the fact that if you were interesting enough to stary with you would't need to be a fudgepacker, rumpranger, abomination to your parents. Tell us how they think of you!! '

There's always two sides to a story.
What was the Question to which you referred, and in what context did you respond?

Off the cuff, however, I'd say the person you quoted has some serious self-esteem issues.

Best Wishes!

Why not simply report it as abuse? Surely you know there are people who irrationally hate other groups, including gay men.

This person probably has a very sad and unhappy life. They compensate for their own lack of achievement and fulfillment by attacking others in public forums. To be bothered by someone's opinion of yourself, you must first appreciate and value that person - do you value this person? If not, then their opinion should not concern you.

Sounds like a very attention depraved guy if he thinks being gay is a publicity act. I don't know of anyone who gained success by coming out.

I don't know what the question was that brought that response but get off of the GLBT section if you only have negativity to spout (that's my response to theirs).

Feeble logic, feebly constructed, feeble in grammar and spelling...clearly feeble-minded.

I shouldn't give it the satisfaction of being concerned about it - for all that it mentioned your parents.

"Oh the barbs!"

Sticks and stones...
