The Myspace Tom lol... there seem to be more true followers to that belief than some major religions.

Is anyone else as disgusted as me with this myspace fanaticism?

I do use the site, since it is obviously the only way friends know how to communicate these days...

myspace.com/davidlapierre

You can see I put a bit of time into it (so I'm not posting this without knowing anything of the site), but some of these people are on 23.95938392/7 :-)

P.S. To clarify, I think myspace is a decent website, it is the people's attitude that I am whining about (yes, I consider this to be whining :-)

Any comments, insults, meaningless posts?

(I don't like your headline, "Tom is GOD", it is a horrible comparison... no one, and nothing should be compared to the Alpha Omega!).
Lol... that sounds like xenogears ^_^

Even gods need followers, don't they? lol...

Tom could be God. Tom being God is about as equally plausible theory as The father of Jesus is God, the almighty who miraculously impregnated Mary. Perhaps you are God.

The myspace alike softwares are widely distributed currently, and there are plenty of better selections used on different community sites, but those sites are not as popular as myspace. Currently myspace is hiring asp programmers so I suppose myspace is trying to upgrade itself to compete with all the others. I hope that answers your question.

I think Myspace is like a drug for some people. I used to use it but it really is pointless. The higher you climb in the number of friends you have, the more complaining you have to hear on a daily basis because you do not have time to comment.

Newcorp bought Myspace because Myspace is a great way to build a target base for advertising. That is all Myspace is, a way for its owners to make money.

Tom is their spokesman.

Yeah, well Tom's an okay guy. And lots of people were pretty obsessed with Friendster too.

I think the most meaningful thing I can add is that Tom used to run a Asian porn website called TeamAsian, according to some blogs I have read.

I think it is pathetic how people establish their value by how many myspace friends they have, yet in real life they have none. I think it's great for communication but horrible for giving the aforementioned a false sense of community.

It kind of just sits there until i'm ready for it. lol, Yes, I got a cute little layout, and I leave stupid meaningless comments just for the hell of it, But .. I def. am not as addicted as some people, Who stay on .. ALL DAY, Asking for comments.. lol .. Fooreaaal.. Get a life please.
