If they are different, then how?
Explain in easy language as I am not a techie.

No. The Internet is a network. The network consists of all the connections between computers connected to the Internet/network. It supports many protocols / ways of communicating.

WWW stands for World Wide Web and is one way of communicating. When we browse the Internet, we do so usually through the WWW. It is the graphical part of the net.

However, you could browse file directories by FTP (file transfer protocol) or you could use a protocol called Gopher, or any number of other methods over the Internet, but without using the WWW.

These days, when people say Web or Internet, the terms are generally pretty interchangeable. However, technically, they are not exactly the same.

WWW is for the World Wide Web...web pages...

The Internet has been around much longer than that.
The 'Web' is a subset of the Internet.

in order to get to the other peoples world wide web (www's) you need to go through the internet
