A Wolverine....they dont give up a fight and are fiercer than any bear or wolf or tiger just because they have the will to beat anything.
"Picture a weasel -- and most of us can do that, for we have met that little demon of destruction, that small atom of insensate courage, that symbol of slaughter, sleeplessness, and tireless, incredible activity -- picture that scrap of demoniac fury, multiply that mite some fifty times, and you have the likeness of a Wolverine."
Ernest Thompson Seton, 1953
Excerpt from wikipedia... The wolverine is extremely strong for its size and has been known to kill animals as large as moose.[1] Its preference for reindeer have caused it to be hunted significantly in areas depending economically on caribou herds, and its status is sometimes in danger in such regions. It is generally not aggressive toward humans, preferring to avoid human contact. However, because a wolverine will attack an animal caught in a trap, early trappers often tried to kill them. They have been filmed capturing kills from other predators, such as polar bears or a wolf pack.

I think an large American guy in a suit and sunglasses (I live in Australia) would give me a bit of a jolt- it would mean I might be on a little plane trip somewhere unpleasant without recourse. But if you're talking non-human animals, well I've found Funnelweb spiders, mice, and venomous snakes in my house before- I think what would really scare me is a leopard. They are good at eating people. Even David Attenborough is scared of leopards.

A coelacant, a fish until a few years ago thought to be extinct. It would mean my house was sitting in the waters off of the coast of Antarctica. Considering I live in FL USA that would be a welcome change of weather, but not exactly a person friendly home.

A mountain lion. They can take you down, and kill you in one jump. Then drag you off and eat you at their leisure. That animal scares me.
