There are some small companies that will alow unlimited national talking, but there coverage is limited to their local area. I know of Cricket wireless for Fresno. In Sacramento there is SureWet and MetroPCS. These plans are like $50 a month.

For a plan with unlimited national talking and national reception, your going to pay more, but they do exist.

Sprint has a plan that costs $199.99 a month
Some Nextell markets will offer a plan for 130.00. Sacramento is one of those markets. These plans are unadvertised, and manyt employees at the stores aren't even aware of them.
