because then everything will cost 5.95, no more .5% sales tax. If no one wants their Penny's give them to me. if for one year 365 days, the number of Penny's I had doubled, at the end of the year I'd be a millionaire.
day 1: 1 penny
day 2: 2 pennies
day 3: 4 pennies
day 4: 8 pennies
you get the drift

DUH... pennies are good luck. America has enough bad luck as it is. if we stop making and finding pennies heads up, think about the state this country would be in!!! oh- and don't forget the wishing well..... if we don't have pennies to throw in there none of our wishes will come true.

you don't want us to be a country of bad luck having, no wish getting people ... or do you????

oh man.. one more thing... there are those things at the zoo.. and other vacation type places where you smash the penny to print the name of the place that you've gone to visit... know what I'm talking about??? we gotta have those... or we'd never remember where we'd been on vacation.. that would be sad. a country of people going to the zoo like a hundred times a year... only b/c we forgot we went b/c we didn't have that lil penny w/ the imprint on it...

come on .. pennies rock

because we have a decimal system. (up to ten, in single increments)
If we were to drop the penny, we would have to use a two cent piece or a three cent piece to replace it.
increments of two or three at a time, does not fit our system.

I believe that we should have a two and a three cent piece in circulation, but we also need to have the penny.
