Birthmarks can be removed but only a dermatologist (or plastic surgeon if referred there) can tell you the best method of removal and the cost. The cost will depend on the method chosen and how much, if any, your insurance will pay. Some insurances will pay for birthmarks or scars...though most won't for birthmarks.
Please see a dermatologist for a consult.

Your other option is to buy dermablend...a cosmetic makeup made specifically for people with birthmarks or scars. You can find it in most drug stores.

Yes, it can be removed. Look for a Pulsed Dye Laser (if your birthmark is red) or Qs NdYAG Laser (if it is black). These lasers really work. I have seen patients undergo with these procedures and they are happy. But you have to know that it takes several sessions (depends on the area, mostly 3-6) and each session has 4 weeks interval (for the skin to heal well and for you to see the changes).Dermatologist knows these so I advise that you have a consultation with them.Hope this helps. God bless!

yes it can be with laser surgery. Its a pain less procedure itll take a couple of tries depending on how deep your birth mark is but at the end it will be completly gone. I would talk to a dermatologist first before you get it done. My mother had hers taken away and now you would never now she had one in the first place.
