that is a mystery to me too why chavo hit Rey with the chair but Rey really won the match first if the referee was not knock out by booker t.
booker cheated again to win a match with the chair but rey caught him with the chair first then chavo came out and grap the chair and hit rey with it.

I agree with Boss Brat.
When Eddy died, they worked it into the script. Eddy's death, while mildly tragic, did nothing but good things for Smackdown.
Ratings went up for a while with Rey holding the title, but as soon as Batista's back, it's all downhill. Nobody wants to see Rey with the title... Who believes he could beat Batista, or ECW's ANgle or Big Show, or even Matt Friggin V1 Hardy?
Not many.
What surprises me is people didn't see this coming.

It was in the script. Nothing more. Nothing less. But, they had to get that heavyweight championship away from Mysterio because no one would ever buy that he could beat Batista, which is what he would have to do sooner than later. Mysterio is a lightweight and had no business with that belt in the first place. He needs to be fighting guys like Matt Hardy. He's no match for the big guys like Undertaker and Batista.
