It is a fact that men have a quicker response and may act quicker in a dangerous situation. But it is also a fact that men are more willing to take a risk than women. Therefore, I think no one can actually say who's better at driving. Most of insurance companies give lower premiums to female drivers due to the risk-taking fact. There are also much more male drivers on the road. (Truckdrivers, taxidrivers ect.) I would say it's depends on the individual.

Let me put it this way: I've been hit by 5 cars, only one was a woman and she was CRAZY as a loon! Now that's some kind of empirical evidence that women are better drivers, overall, if they're not crazy that is.
I'm a very good driver, not slow, not insanely fast. In every accident I was avoiding some type of hazard, but the people who hit me weren't so aware of the surroundings.
So, if I've not been clear enough, In my humble opinion I am a better driver than a handful of men and a crazy woman, and I am a woman, so therefore we can logically conclude that women are the better drivers.
By the way, there's no money in car accidents.

men are bigger risk takers than women (most of the time) therefore, they are better at certain things when driving. women are more cautious, and I don't think I need to explain why that makes us the better driver now do I?

I would say I am a better driver than my girlfriend, but I suppose it's all dependent upon your opinion of what constitutes "better driving".

Heh... I don't think so. If they aren't observant in conversations or household rules then I don't think the road should be any different. No offense guys! My boyfriend is a pretty good driver though. But in general...no. They're not lol.

No. They are just more psycho and impatient. That translates to "better" for some reason. Most accidents involve men.

depends, a guy talking on his cell phone can be just as dangerous as a women. I was almost in an accident on the highway because some guy in an suv was talking on his phone and almost merged into me.
