I mean real conservatives? Not people blinded by a Republican party line, but people who believe:
-It's fine for Israel to defend themselves.
-We have to stop terrorism, and groups like Al-Qaeda and Hezbollah don't want to talk to us, they want to kill us.
-Spanking your kid is okay, if you do it when appropriate.
-Illegals have to stop coming into this country, and we have to stop them, because it puts all of us at risk.
-Government spending is out of control, and neither Repubs nor Dems seem too concerned about it.
-Anyone who can lawfully fill a petition as required should be able to run for President, and current election laws prevent that from happening.
-The Constitution is the basis of this country's founding, and it must be adhered to.
-The vast majority of the US founders were Christians, and the basic principles this country was founded on are derived from The Bible and the Magna Carta.

Is there anyone here who agrees with all these things listed above?

I view myself as a Moderate Conservative.

Having said that, I agree with the following...

- Yes, Israel has the right to defend herself.

- Yes we should stop terrorism. Negotiation does not work with terrorists. Appeasement just breeds more terrorism (this is well documented in a recent book dealing with this topic).

- Appropriate (controlled, limited) punishment, when appropriate (strongly linked to bad behavior), is an appropriate parenting method for kids to develop good character.

- I am for legal immigration; not illegal immigration.

- Yes, Government spending needs to be reduced. I do recognize the current government's strategy though (as a combination of supply-side and demand-site economics).

- The constitution is indeed the basis of our country's founding and is not something that should be modified at will by Supreme Court Judges. The Judges should not be in the position of creating or discovering new laws or rights. That is the business of Congress, limited and balanced by the Presidential Office.

- The vast majority of the US founders were indeed Christians and the basic principles of the the founding of the US are from the Bible and the Magna Carta (the substrate/ foundation of all of this is the existence of God, and the rights provided to us by God).

------

I dont know enough about the "run for President" item to comment meaningfully about it.

Cordially,
John

I agree with with everything but the part about who should be able to run for president. I beleive that the president should be a US born citizen.
I also believe that the officials we elect should make policies that the MAJORITY of americans want, and not what only benefits minorities.
I believe that congressmen should vote the same way as the people of their state did in a vote about the same issue.(ie...about two years ago over 75% of the voters in arkansas voted to ban gay marriage, and the two senators from arkansas voted against the protection of marriage act.)
I beleive that removing Elected officials, or for that matter, federal judges from their positions should be much easier than it is.

I DO!!!!!
I am a conservative libertarian.
I am registered as a republican because in my area there is not a libertarian presence.
I am considering joining the free state project, but I am unsure of making the change geographically from SoCal to New Hampshire.

Suuuuuuuuuuuure that is. How do you clarify the copious questions and solutions i have had bumped off? i'm particularly to the right of Benito Mussolini, and all were bumped off by way of whining from indignant liberals. BTW, for a communicate board it is supposedly biased in the route of the right, they particular look to have a range of of left-wing "reliable" questioners: Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, and so on... even as can we are expecting to make certain one from Sen. Brownback?

I think you referred to documents that have been removed from school teachings for being intolerant. Have no problem with most of what you say.
