I personally LOVE tattoos. I don't have any but plan to get one the minute I turn 18. I think they are soooooo cool as long as they have a meaning behind them.I think it's just stupid when people get them because they think it looks cool. As an example, my sisters ex had a tattoo on his arm, when you first looked at it, it looks like a chinese symbol or something. but when you turn it to the side it's ******* written really close together. I thought this was really stupid. So yes, I think tattoos are art, and mostly not disgusting.

When I got words tattooed, I wrote them how I wanted them (or you can print it off the computer) and they copy it onto like a fake tattoo paper. Then they put it on and trace it. Otherwise, if you find a really good tattoo artist, they can do it free hand.

I don't really object to the idea of tattooing... but I don't like it as much either. It's kinda because our bodies were made pure and was given to us by God an' all, so if we were to vandalize His work, I think He'll be pretty much pissed at that. How would you feel if a person just vandalizes a very important piece of work like a drawing you made with painstaking effort? You'd be pissed, right? So, I think that's how God would feel. But I'm not saying you should discontinue if you think that was what I was saying, if you want, just continue tattooing your body.... I'm sticking to hena...

I think tattoo's are art, people may look down on you for having them, but honestly if you have your tattoos removed you are still the same person. I have a few discreet tatts that have different meanings, about different life experiences

Art, unless they represent hate of some sort. I have a few tats. A character meaning "dragon" on my toe, a Celtic knot I drew on my inside wrist, the words "I'll try" on my hip with a small design, and a few small stars on my lower back.

both..........if you were intoxicated or in prison and got some ink just to get it probably disgusting to look at faded , crooked, blurry etc...........however custom tattoos are truly artwork. they're a piece of art stenciled onto the flesh and they rival any painting I've seen in quality, skill, and style. plus custom work actually reflects the identity of the person. it's like wearing your heart and soul on the skin for the world to see, and yes i have 4, 1 on each arm , 1 on my left leg and a small sun over my heart.

for me, tattoos are a form of self-expression. there are some tattoos that i find lovely but there are also those that i find graffiti-like and unpleasant to the eyes. either way, it reflects the personality of the person with the tattoo. i don't have a tattoo but i would love to have one. i don't know what design to get yet and i want to be 100% sure before i go through with it if ever i do decide to go get it.

Tattoos are disgusting unless its art.
Art is pathetic unless it has a story.
A story is useless unless it has a meaning.
All tattoos mean something to someone and so even if disgusting, tattoos are definately art
