Thanking the good people that passed the law that a president can only hold office for 2 terms. . . Oh, I'm sorry. That is me thinking aloud again.

Greatest accomplishment? Proving that a true politician always lies to get what they want (WMD?? 9/11 terrorists connected to Iraq?? Both proven false - and admitted by the man himself).

getting away scott free for pulling off 9/11 with the help of other high level government officials and relatives (Marvin Bush), well at least so far anyway. but you know i don't see this as a great accomplishment, i see this as a very sad truth and it pains me to see any poor fool still buy their poor excuse for how and why 9/11 occured, their official story that was given to the public for how and why 9/11 happened is full of holes and i can say with 100% certainty that every aspect of the given story can be and has been disproved by the common man and by a vast variety of experts in many different feilds, so in conclusion to my answer all i will say is please turn off your t.v. and research 9/11 yourself and then maybe you will understand exactly what it is tht we are dealing with and you will realize that 1. we either let it happen or 2. we (our government) infact did perpetrate 9/11 and it was an inside job. you know only one question needs to be asked here and that is "who profited, who stood to gain, who had the oppurtunity, who had the will." WHO, WHO, WHO because i know damn well it was'nt those 19 alleged hijackers because hell afterall 6 of them are still alive LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actual as for as the history of Presidents he will not be remembered as a failure. He will not stand out that much. We have had worse presidents, really. LBJ is actually one that is not remembered fondly by historians because of Vietnam. That is the most recent real failure as Pres. Now Bush has not been great but he has not be a total failure. He did do some things that he will be remembered for years from now. Such as having the 1st Femail Sec. of State, having the 1st black Sec. of State. Having the largest diversity on his Cabinet of any previous president. Now those may not be great, but History is funny in what it chooses to remember. Unless it is a MAJOR failure it is dropped.

Getting the presidency out of the hands of a democrat, because if Gore or Kerry had to deal w/ 9-11, Katrina, constant terrorism, tsunamis, and all the event of the last 6 years, WE'D ALL BE DEAD!! Imagine Kerry or Gore handling 9-11 and getting our economy back up. And, at least he did something about terrorism, unlike Mr. Cigar who was in office before him...hmmm...I wonder

His best accomplishment will be on January 20, 2009 when he gets out of the White House and goes back to TX.

Lowering taxes, increasing tax revenues, historically low levels of unemployment, growing economy on the heels of the 9-11 disaster, etc. Dems just can't stand it. If Clinton was in office, they would want to deify the guy.

That fateful day a long long time ago, when, after years of hard work and training he finally accomplished for the first time what he had set out to do, what his parents so had hoped for: he tied his shoe lace. After that: dowhill.

He's attempted a lot of things that would have been great accomplishments had they worked out the way he'd hoped/planned. As it is, history will see him has a failure.

The catalyst of the beginning of the downfall of America.
