Andropause or commonly known as the mid-life crisis, is very much a real thing. Not every man suffers from this predisposition, It has to do with the way he was raised and his problem solving abilities, everyone at some point gets bored or displeased with the way things are going in their lives, what we do to shake off the dull-drums, is a matter of how we deal with our lives in general. This change can take place as early as forty and as late as fifty-two.This decease is bought on by lowered testosterone, the symptoms often escape detection, since the can be vague, testosterone replacement therapy is available. I hope the links below help you.

Men do go through a physical change similar a woman. It just isn't nearly as extreme. It does however, help to create more of a psychological change, that happens about the same time a man realizes he is no longer young. Of course there is a very wide range of reactions to this. Some men hardly change at all, others go completely off the deep end, like the ones you describe. There are many varied reasons for this. Time and space will not allow getting into them.

this is a pile of bull, that does not happen just ask any of my three ex-wives, men never get tired of the same old thing and want something different, I don't see why you would even say that I have had the same car for the last 3 weeks, and my girl friend and I have had a wunderful 2 month relationship, she is 27 and am 46, things could not be any better for us, so I can tell you first hand that guys are not like that.

The impact of decreasing androgens is called andropause, or PADAM – Partial Androgen Deficiency in the Ageing Male (male menopause). It is a normal part of ageing, although, for some men it is accompanied by a gradual and undesired decline in their sexuality, mood and overall energy. Sometimes it can even expose men to more serious health risks.

Yep, they freak out, start doing self-improvement and consider running off to unknown parts. I think it's like adolescence in a way, the hormones are going crazy for one last time! lol Hopefully, they get through it ok and readjust to reality.

you know what it is? men to get a certain age and realise they are no longer young and virile. they are old, hair is falling out and they no longer have that ripped torso that used to get the girls for them. as a result they try to stop the aging with the use of new women to show they can still do it.

Yes. It's called a mid-life crisis. They realize they're not so young anymore, so they change their lifestyle and chase after younger women to help them feel better about themselves.
