It inspires the future and also makes me look around and see the hypocrisy, despotism and racism that we practise and yet fail to reliaze it.
For the future, it inspired the needleless injection for medicine, Quicktime, nanotechnology and many more
For the bad, it did any an episode on homosexuality, by having planet that reversed the roles, heterosexuality is a crime, and asexuality was the norm.
