In the course of answering another question, I am trying to figure out what the name of an old childhood toy was. It was an oval and most of them had blue and white sand in (though mine had pink and white with a bit of glow-in-the-dark). The object was to make sand art designs in this disc and then you could stand it up and display your sand art. Anyone remember the name of it?

Thanks so much for your help! Peace!

I have searched for Sand Art toys, Ohio Art, Sand-Glo, Sand Toys, with no success. That's why I ask the question - looking for more leads.

I thought Etch-a-sketch too, but maybe because it was made by Ohio Art?

This thing was 2 panels of plastic with sand in between in an oval shape. You could see the sand on either side.

Thanks again for the help!
