yes , parents give any traits whether dominant or recessive to the next generation , but the recessive gene need another recessive gene to work , but if you have recessive and Dominion gene the dominant gene trait will appear over the recessive . but you should note that there is another factor that affects on personality traits which is the environment . for example , one person could receive a personality trait such as intelligence but if this person live in an environment which not help to grow hi intelligence , he or she would not be intelligent . so the personality traits affected by our genes and the environment

if a gene for something is there its almost always a possibility, perhaps a remote one...but it is there.

recessive genes find a way to show up often.
