I'd honestly suggest turning off the computer. Sometimes, the computer keeps me awake longer than normal because my mind gets too distracted while surfing the internet or playing computer games. This makes it hard to sleep when you're thinking about things you've read or seen on the computer. It's also hard to sleep if you're thinking about answering that next question or getting to the next level on your favorite game!

You can try turning down the A/C an hour or so before your bedtime. Reducing your body temperature may make you sleepy. Here are some other tips:

Hope you get some rest!

It is time to check with your doctor about a prescription to Ambien CR which is nonnarcotic or if that does not work ask for a narcotic benzodiazapine like Valium, Xanax, Restoril, Klonopin. No joke. Insomnia is a medical condition. Check out webmd.com.

If you are into health food type of things, then bananas and turkey have a natural sedative in them. There are also some natural vitamins like Melatonin to take that won't have you be addicted to them. You may need to see a doctor to check for depression problems.

i see that you're suffering from insomnia. well, i suggest that you stay away from caffeine before hitting the sack. if you've been tossing and turning for the past three hours, i suggest you stop trying to sleep - dont force yourself if you can't do it. do something that'll keep your mind relaxed, like read a book, surf the net... keep yourself occupied and you'll feel your eyelids shut in no time. if that doesnt work, then you better go to the doctor, he/she might prescribe you some medicine which will aid to your insomnia.

lots of people said to never do other things in you bed but to sleep (and you know what else..) but anyway when you feel like you cant sleep go somewhere else other than your bed and occupy your time, read, go on the computer, fan off this crazy heat, take a shower, and then when you get sleepy go straight to bed
