RE:
Please help me find a realistic oversized tricycle for an adult...I need it to look like a huge kids tricycle?
Hello, I am greatly in need of a realistic looking tricycle for an adult. It has to be a large oversized clone of the ones for kids. This is a prop for a stage production. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you very much.

Don't they have those giant trike things at the beach, with the big hollow tires that let you roll it on water or land?
Hmm, not so much like a kid's trike maybe, and probably not too cheap. I'm guessing it's a couple of bucks to rent for a day. You could probably change the tires out if you're that handy with tools, but for that you'd need to buy it.
If you're near a tourist trap lake or bay, you might ask around at the local camp sites there, or check around online.
I always wondered why they didn't make trikes for adults. Not everyone has the balance for a bike... especially after a couple of forties.

I doubt that you will find that anywhere except a place that specializes in stage props. There are tricycles for adults but they don't look like little red children's cycles and they are very expensive. Most bicycle stores have them or can order them. Invacare Corporation has some really snazzy one especially made for handicapped individuals.
I would suggest that you take a small adult bicycle and find someone handi with tools who can put some fake back wheels on it and make it look like what you want.

You can purchase the "tricycles" for older adults at Wal-Mart or even a specialty bike shop. A lot of senior citizens have them but they have the big baskets attached to the back. They could probably be purchased without the basket or you may be able to detach it for your purposes and re-attach it later. Good luck!

We had the big old heavy metal ones. They lasted forever and had to make it through 5 kids.
