Hell no. Life begins at 40. That's when you are beginning your prime, in business life. Besides, you've got to change jobs in order to bid up your value and get paid from the highest bidder.
And if you still have a hard time, just lie and say you're 35. ;)

Well, if you are in Singapore you will find it diffcult to get a job once you are above 40. If you are not in Sinagpore, It really depends on your state.

Definitely no! unless your are prepared to accept a lower pay and status(bring yourself down). No one die of hunger in Singapore, no problem in getting a job, don't worry.
