When you are absolutely sure she is the right one.
When you are absolutely sure she feels the same way and will say yes.
And.... in a very memorable, thoughtful and romantic way that you two will remember the rest of your lives!

Usually an engagement is anywhere from 6 months up to 2 years before the marriage takes place.
I have never heard of anyone receiving an engagement ring right before the wedding.

When you're darn sure their the one and you are both mature enough to handle your problems in an adult way. I think it is best to have a short engagement, during which you have some good marriage counseling.

I would say a few months before maybe longer just so you know what you want before you take that big step

thre`s no time frame u cn giv it a year b4 marriage or a day b4 but jst make sure to make it special

anytime they are not on the toilet or driving a car. no seriously i think a year is good.
