I know this is an incredibly simplistic answer, but yes it is possible. More than likely you haven't broken it though. You're just sore from the ride. Don't worry about it.

I know I'm not a girl, but I did some research before my ex and I were together for the first time.
The Hymen is a very thin layer of skin covering the entrance to the birth cannal. Theoretically, because it is fairly fragile, you don't need to have sex to break it. Enough force could puncture or tear it. It is possible that you tore or broke it. I have a friend that's a gymnist who broke her's on the balance beam when she slipped and landed with the beam between her legs. Another of my friends told me she lost hers landing on and then falling off the diving board in the back of her aunt's house.
Short answer: Yes, It's possible and even probably if it hurts so much. Consult a doctor to find out for certain if it's actially been broken

I broke mine (25 yrs ago) when I wrecked on my bike going down a hill and hit some gravel. The breaking of the hymen should not cause pain though. I had a small amount of bleeding. The pain your probably feeling is in the pelvis (bones and muscles) from all the bumping on the bike seat. It should feel better in a couple of days.

I do know that you can break it from horseback riding, so I suppose it could happen... are you bleeding? there would be blood from the torn hymen most likely - that is a sign that you may have ruptured it. Most likely you just bruised yourself if there is no other physical evidence. It does not cause pain on the outside of your body, so I would not think you tore it unless there was blood and/or a bit of tissue.

You really shouldn't ride a bike with the seat removed.
