I also quit smoking, but wasn't a heavy smoker didn't even smoke every day can that also cause weight gsin? I'm not used to havving any type of trouble loosing weight. I don't knpw what to do!!!

If you lost weight while taking adderall, then you could gain just that weight back. However, if you lost no weight, then weight gain is not an effect of stopping adderall. Quitting smoking is proven to increase weight (no matter how much you smoked) as most people substitute food for the cigarette.

Also, you did not give your age so your weight gain can also be tied to a decrease in metabolism.

I myself take the "phenomenal' aderall and one thing i noticed is the weight loss i've been having. you might be going through withdrawel symptoms[remember it's a ''controlled'' anphetamine. Try finding methods of loosing the weight gain such as sports, excercise and even meditation. If in one month from now your still gaining weight rapidely talk to a doctor. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
