no... that's redundant... it's like saying misunderestimation

That would be a pointless word. Continue is equal no matter how many times it occurs. "Re-continue" would be redundant. That's like saying "Let's restart again". You either don't use the "re" or don't use the "again". I've actually heard people use the word "recontinue", but it's just a misnomer for the word resume.

I don't think that it is a word, but i supposed you could re- continue something if you are really a fragmented person. Like somebody that continuously stops and restarts things and never finishes. But, then you would probably be a re-fragmented person who re-continues, because you are not actually restarting...... only continuing from where you left off, causing yourself to be further fragmented.

Sounds a bit redundant....I think the word is just "continue". To "re-continue" would mean to "continue to continue"....I'm not an expert on grammar, but it doesn't sound right to me.

Yes there might be you re-continue something you start and then stop so you go back and finish so you would re-continue something started right.

NO, but anyone can add "re- "to any word and invent it as a new word. the test is to see if it is in the dictionary.

I am the queen of making up new words, but I don't think that will work. Try trajesty for example, or determinated! lol

it is redundant, but the prefix "re" can be added to almost any action word. re constitute, re initiate, re run, re animate, etc.

The best word to replace that would be "resume".
