wow, we have the same problem! i couldnt upload any of my videos to my iPod. truth is, its really difficult to find free mp4 videos. what you need is a converter. just search through the net for a free mpeg converter for iPod. took me days to find a decent one.

SOMETIMES, only sometimes, can you change the format of your video from a media player file to an mp4 file. In windows, you just right click on the file, go to open with, and change it to either Quicktime or iTunes. However, this usually doesn't work because the encoding of an mp4 and a media player file is different. But it's worth a try.

hey buddy yeah limewire is a hassle and will slow your computer try bittorrents.
To use bittorrents you need to get a bittorrent client go to bitcomet.com and download the latest version an since this program is c++ based it wont take a lot of computer memory.
after you install bitcomet go to mininova.org there you can search for your tv shows or movies. when you find one click on it then download the torrent file.
this torrent file is usually small around 60kb, then you open the torrent file in bitcomet and that will start the downlad. be sure to look for torrents with high number of leechers and seeders. leechers are ppl who are in the process of downloading the file and seeders are ppl who already downloaded the file but are sharing it with others so that your download will be faster. this process may seem hard but you will see how simple, fast and reliable it can be, enjoy.

ok here is what you do to get way more videos. go on limewire and search for "Videora Ipod Converter" under programs. download the exe. file and open it. it will download the videora ipod converter, then all you do is choose the video doesn't matter what format it is, and it converts it to mpeg4 for your ipod simple as that. that way any "good" videos you download on limewire that are wma format will be able to be used on your ipod and trust me it's worth the wait for the download cause limewire has a bunch of good music vids in wma format
