Park and walk. All the people i see doing 10 minute rounds around the parking lot for a spot that is 2 feet closer all fat! and hence are the ones who really need the extra walk and should think about parking far and walking more!!

If I've got all 3 of my kids with me (the oldest is 4) I park as close as I can and I'll drive around for a few minutes to look for the best spot. Otherwise, if I'm by myself or only have 1 or 2 kids with me I actually try to park as far away as possible.

I briefly look for a close spot especially in the winter, but normally I will park wherever there's an open space. I get REALLY annoyed at school when people block the entire parking lot because they're waiting for someone to pull out (often nobody is even in their cars, they're just waiting in case someone leaves.) Find an OPEN spot and walk your lazy *** to class instead of making ME late because you're blocking the parking lot! Sorry.. I get so annoyed by this.

I generally only look for a good spot for a few seconds. By the time you cruise around looking for the "best" spot, you could have already been in the store - and somebody else might have already purchased the last of that sale item I was going in for! Plus, a good walk across the parking lot is good exercise for everyone - please save those handicap and close spots for people who REALLY are unable to walk ( not just too lazy!)

I usually take the first decent spot I see. I can't stand it when people drive around looking for a great spot, heck you could be parked and in the building by the time these people decide to park.

I've got 2 legs that work... there's no reason beyond sheer laziness not to walk. How big is the biggest parking lot Unless it's the length of a city block, Walk the bloody 50 yards.

It depends on the errand...if I'm in a hurry I'll spend some extra time looking for a spot close to the store...but if I'm not in a rush I'll just park and walk.

I always park at the farthest spot. Less chance of someone hitting my car, closer to the exit of the parking lot etc. I have a friend that always parks at the closet spot and claims that it is always waiting for him because he expects it to be there.

Park and walk cause you waste too much time and gas waiting for the best spot. Lucky for me, I always luck out with a great spot.
