I dont know any places in Orlando, but here in Tn I went to the health dept. and got WIC. That helps with formula and food.(formula is very expensive!) And that's free. Also in my town they have a help center..This helps with clothing and dipers and even furniture. Alot of churches also have things like that. Plus shopping at places like goodwill or st. vincent's, garage sales or even ebay help save some money! I am so glad she's keeping the baby and I wish her the best of luck!

well, your hand-me-downs are going to be VERY VALUABLE, even if they're not the same gender.
Beyond that, I'd have to research your area before I can give you a clear answer. Immediately, though, I suggest you grap a phone book & take a look in the government pages. Look for your local WIC program, and if you can't find it, call the county health department. They'll have a list of resources available and/or be able to direct you to where you can find them.
Get her down to the social service office, too, especially if her parents don't carry insurance on her. She's pregnant, so she automatically qualifies for all that state aid stuff.

if she's going to regular prenatal checkups, there should be an array of magazines about babies and pregnancy. she should check them out. in this month's issue of babytalk magazine, theres a long list of ways to save money. freecycle.org craigslist.com ebay.com they sell used baby clothes for super cheap, usually a lot at a time. local consignment shops, 1.800.diapers.com , magazine says they sell diapers cheaper than wholesale clubs. get her to start clipping coupons for everything. myclipper.com couponmom.com shop for the baby's clothes when its out of season, so its much cheaper. do u have a goodwilll around? there's lots more tips in the babytalk magazine. it's actually free for expecting and new moms.

You can check if there is a freecycle in your area...it's www.freecycle.com and we have it here where I live. Basically it's a local based website where ppl donate, give or ask for used or new items that they need or no longer need and there is no money exchanged...hope this helps!
