Open NIS or NPF.
Double-click Personal Firewall.
On the Advanced tab, click Trojan Horse...
Locate the rule generating the alerts.
Click Modify.
On the Tracking tab, clear "Notify me with a security alert."
Click OK on any open windows.

This should help you if you were talking about security alerts from NOrton . If you ar etalking about web pop ups then google for Adaware and spybot, Download, install, update and then run these softwares. Try considering upgrading to NIS 2006

Oke,...mostly I guess you have spyware on your pc....get ad-aware free edition, and do a scan...

a anti virus is most basic, you need firewall, and anti spyware programs to make your pc a bit more secure...ad aware is the best one right now.

norton sucks.

get avg free from grisoft.com for virus protection

get spybot search and destroy for spyware from www.download.com
(make sure you install with the teatimer option for registry level protection)

get the yahoo toolbar for popups

oh yeah, use firefox, www.getfirefox.com

hi, i recommand you to try firefox. firefox can tell you which url is blocked and you can pop the url again..

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

download firefox for free:

Click on tools, at the top of the page, then click pop-up blocker, click, turn on pop-up blocker. You should not get any pop-ups now.
