There are more than enough Mexicans already here to handle those jobs. Moreover, the fact that Mexicans have so many kids compared to blacks, whites, and Asians insures that their population will grow significantly over the upcoming years without any additional Mexicans entering the country. The claim that we need more Mexican immigrants to do these low level jobs is complete BS - we are far from a labor shortage as anyone who sees Mexicans selling oranges on the corner or standing around a Home Depot looking for odd jobs can attest.
We don't need more Mexicans, they just need us. The only thing that additional illegals will accomplish will be further driving down American wages and destroying the middle class.

I don't think anyone is claiming that we need more immigrants. I think they're saying that you wouldn't have a pot to Pi$$ in if it weren't for all the immigrants already here. This topic definitely covers a lot of ground for B.S. issues! Politicians are just using the subject to divide people in order to benefit the next election. Lots to sort through. If we put all of these issues on paper, it is really madness going on in this country and the world. Mexico IS the most active border crossing in the entire world. I see it more as a terrorist threat than just a matter of illegal immigration.
