Listen up - I've told people this before and they never believe me, then they try it and it always works.

2 things - you ONLY need to do 2 things.

First off, the cleanser that you use - I use Neutrogena - MAKE SURE THAT THE SOAP STAYS ON FOR AT LEAST 30 SECONDS. Foam up the soap on your face and let it stand for 30 seconds. You ever try that bacteria test? In med school, they teach you about cleanliness prior to scrubbing in - they do this to show students how bacteria stays on your skin, even when you think it's gone - they use a powder that they put on your skin and then you wash your hands and use a black light. The black light shows that after you've washed your hands, the bacteria is still there. Why? Because the soap was not on long enough to do it's job - so wait 30 seconds, then wash off.

Second thing - EAT ORANGES! People forget, Vitamin C is one of the best sources for clean skin - it helps remove excess oils - if you don't believe me, try it for two weeks - eat two oranges a day. Once your skin clears up, you can cut back to about 1 orange a day, then eventually only 3 oranges a week. Citrus is a natural oil cutter, so when your body absorbs it, it'll work out through your skin via the Vitamin C

You're skin WILL clear up in 2 weeks. AND you'll get much needed vitamins and be that much healthier for it.

Proactive is pretty expensive but it's definitely worth it! Just buy one package of the revitalizing cleanser, refreshing toner, and repairing lotion. Follow the directions on how to use it and just use it until it runs out. Then afterwards you can just buy some face wash from the local grocery store or something and keep up the routine of washing your face twice a day. It's also good to put some mosturizer on and sunscreen if you're going outside.

To help prevent the pimples from coming back, change your pillowcase more often then your bedsheet and make sure you don't eat greasy foods too often. Also try to keep your hands away from your face (except when washing of course lol).

You can squeeze them (not to hard..you don't want scars :)), use Proactive, Biore, facial cleansing pads, or dab alchohol on each pimple separately (don't use too much, it dries up the skin). Be careful not to use products that make your face break out more. If your problems continue, consider visiting a skin professional. If your skin is naturally oily, ask about things you can do to keep your skin moisturized but not too oily. Remember, not everyone has perfect skin. Get comfortable with who you are!

Note: Use makeup without oil, and always wash your face before bed [don't use alot of soap, our skin is sensitive].

Hope this helps! :) ~ Elle

Hydrogen Peroxide. sounds gross, but this is what i do when I have a pimple. I squeez it just a little, than I take some hydrogen peroxide on a Qtip, and put it on the pimple. It dries the pimple out in a couple of days.

Everyone else will probably tell you this is the wrong way to do it, but it works:

POP the thing!

... then wash your face really well with oil-free acne wash (neutrogena) and rinse with warm water until your face is squeeky clean. Then put Clean & Clear spot gel on the popped pimple and go to bed.

i know it's bad, but you have to get all the gunk out and dry out the area, unless you want to have a big fat pimple for a week.

people always used to tell me that popping pimples caused scarring, but my face is scar-free. AND acne-free.

I pop mine. After I pop it, I put toothpaste on the pore. It stings a little, but the toothpaste dries out the pimple and reduces the swelling. I usually put toothpaste on it overnight and wash my face in the morning when I wake up. It works really well for me. My sister taught me that little trick.

Oxy 10 is good, but also maybe change your diet if you are drinking alot of sugary sodas and drinks. Switch to water and eat a healthier diet with lots of fruits and veggies. As a teen I was anorexic, (a bad thing yes) but I never had pimples and contribute that to drinking alot of water and eating lots of vegetables.

I went to a GP and was given anti-biotics, fash wash and cream for the scars. Its much better than getting frustrated trying all products in the market that doesn't work.

At least if anything happens while on the doctors prescription, you have somebody to blame ehehehe.
